Choosing a Bulgarian ski resort
Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo offer much more terrain and holiday infrastructure for a full ski week than Bulgaria’s smallest local ski centres.

Bansko has the broadest evening scene; Borovets is lively but more compact.
Chepelare, Dobrinishte, Panichishte, Malyovitsa, Kartala and Semkovo suit travellers comfortable with limited terrain.

Our methodology
Resort facts and provider rankings are assessed separately.
We use current resort, tourism and ski-area sources for piste size, difficulty, lifts and access. Where published totals differ, we avoid mixing incompatible counting methods.
We include providers where they genuinely offer a useful Bulgaria ski product or service. Within the list, we give the most weight to current Bulgaria coverage, ski expertise, resort choice, package breadth, booking accessibility and usefulness when planning the trip. Commission does not set the order.
Full Bulgaria ski-holiday operators come first, followed by transfer companies, ski-hire providers and lesson marketplaces because those services support the trip rather than provide the main holiday package.
Providers are ordered editorially for Bulgaria, with complete holiday-booking options before specialist services. Ski France, Skiworld, Inghams, Neilson, Sunweb Ski, Travelski, Europe-Mountains.com, Ski.com, Mark Warner, Oliver's Travels, Smiling House, ALPS RESORTS, SASS Global Travel and Whistler.com were excluded because their current focus is not a close fit for a Bulgaria ski-holiday comparison. The order is not based on affiliate commission or live price.
