Our verdict
I’ve booked with Crystal before, so this review is not based only on what the company says about itself. From the customer side, the appeal of the package model is straightforward: the core journey can sit in one booking instead of being split across several suppliers. We still re-check Crystal’s current product before scoring it today. Its strongest areas are convenience, trust and choice; it becomes less convincing when the available flight, transfer or accommodation is a poor fit, or when the extras make the total less competitive.

Who Crystal suits
Crystal is a stronger fit when reducing holiday admin matters more than choosing every part of the journey independently.
Package contents
For standard flight packages, the core is return flights, resort transfers and accommodation. Lift passes, equipment and lessons are normally add-ons rather than part of the basic package.
Return flights are included in standard flight packages; self-drive and ski-train products work differently.
Airport or rail-station transfers to and from resort are normally included in Crystal packages.
Hotel, apartment or chalet accommodation and the stated board basis form part of the package.
Lift passes, equipment hire and lessons can usually be added, but are not normally in the basic package price.
Crystal provides 24/7 contact while you are away, the Ski Explorer app and in-person reps in many resorts. The exact service available depends on the resort.
Value checks
The package price is only one part of the decision. These are the details that can materially change the total cost or how convenient the trip actually feels.
Include the lift pass, equipment, lessons and winter-sports insurance you actually need before comparing the total with another provider or a DIY trip.
An included transfer is useful, but the arrival airport, journey length and final drop-off can make two apparently similar packages feel very different.
Allowance and ski-carriage rules depend on the flight, so check the booking you are actually considering rather than assuming every Crystal package works the same way.

Would I book Crystal again?
I would book Crystal again when the available flight, transfer and accommodation combination fits the trip and the full cost makes sense. I would book differently when the package forces compromises on timing, accommodation or total price that outweigh the convenience.
