Which Scottish ski resorts are included?
The official All Area Pass page lists Glencoe Mountain, Glenshee Ski Centre, The Lecht 2090, Cairngorm Mountain and Nevis Range. The same pass covers skiing and snowboarding across these five mountain centres.
Glencoe Mountain
Check official snow reports, webcams and resort information before choosing where to ski.
Glenshee Ski Centre
Check official snow reports, webcams and resort information before choosing where to ski.
The Lecht 2090
Check official snow reports, webcams and resort information before choosing where to ski.
Cairngorm Mountain
Check official snow reports, webcams and resort information before choosing where to ski.
Nevis Range
Check official snow reports, webcams and resort information before choosing where to ski.
Check the live snow report, open lifts and road conditions before setting off. A mountain can have snow while offering only limited terrain, and wind can affect uplift independently of snow cover.
Value for regular skiers
Is the Scottish All Area Pass worth it?
Start with the number of days you can realistically ski, then compare the pass with the day tickets or single-resort pass you would otherwise buy. The attraction is flexibility: you can change mountains without purchasing a new daily lift ticket each time.
The figures below divide the pass price by your actual ski days. They are an illustration of effective pass cost, not day-ticket prices or a forecast of how many days the mountains will open.
| Days skied | Adult (£550) | Child (£300) |
|---|---|---|
| 8 days | £68.75 | £37.50 |
| 10 days | £55.00 | £30.00 |
| 12 days | £45.83 | £25.00 |
| 15 days | £36.67 | £20.00 |
| 20 days | £27.50 | £15.00 |
Work out your own break-even point
Divide the pass price by the daily ticket cost you would otherwise pay and round up to a whole day. For example, an adult comparing against a hypothetical £50 day ticket reaches £550 after 11 days. At a hypothetical £40 it takes 14 days; at £60 it takes 10 days to spend at least as much on day tickets.
Use the current official rate for your resort, age group and dates in that calculation. Factor in travel, accommodation, equipment and lessons separately: a low effective pass cost does not automatically make a whole trip inexpensive.
Regular, flexible mountain visits
You can make repeated trips, choose between mountains and travel when suitable conditions arrive.
A few fixed dates or one usual resort
Daily tickets or a single-resort season pass may better match your plans. Compare the actual prices and benefits before committing.
Buying your pass
How to buy the 2026/27 Scottish ski pass
Start from Snowsport Scotland's official All Area Pass page and follow its purchase instructions. Use that page to confirm any checkout, payment or collection details rather than assuming they match a resort's own season-pass system.

What extra benefits are included?
The launch announcement also includes Snowsport Scotland Supporter membership, with member discounts and public liability insurance subject to the policy terms. Review the current membership and insurance information if those benefits influence your purchase.
Pass sales opening in October does not mean Scottish mountain skiing has started. Plan around each resort's current operating report.
